Drawing & Painting Course +8 · Level 2
Level 2 of our drawing and painting workshop in A Coruña is the natural continuation of Level 1: perspective, the human figure, realistic portraits, pastel colours and first strokes with oil paint. It's no longer a course with its own registration, it's the second year that anyone finishing Level 1 automatically moves into. Here you can find out what it involves.
The course
The second year of our workshop, which anyone who completed Level 1 moves into automatically, combining advanced drawing, painting and digital art techniques, with a special focus on realistic portraits:
DRAWING
• One and two-point perspective
• The human figure, realistic eyes and flowing hair
• Realistic portraits: first guided, step-by-step portraits, our speciality
• Composition: action lines, object layering, horizons and fantasy scenes
PAINTING
• Pastel colours: blending and shading for portraits and soft landscapes
• Introduction to oil painting: materials, brush care and canvas preparation
• Blending glazes and chiaroscuro to give real volume to each piece
DIGITAL ART
• Designing illustrated backgrounds and posters combining image and text
• Finishing the course with a small portfolio of their own
How moving up to Level 2 works
Level 2 keeps the same price and structure as Level 1: 1 workshop a week for €22 a month, or 2 workshops of an hour and a half a week for €35 a month. Anyone who takes Level 1 this year automatically moves into Level 2 the following year, with no new registration process needed: we will let you know in good time how to continue.
