At our drawing and painting workshop in A Coruña, for those who already took their first steps learning to paint with watercolours and want to go further: perspective, the human figure, realistic portraits, pastel colours and their first strokes with oil paint. First class free, basic materials included.
The course
A course at our drawing and painting workshop, for those who already have some ease with a pencil -and may already have learned to paint with watercolours in Level 1- and want to go further, combining advanced drawing, painting and digital art techniques, with a special focus on realistic portraits:
DRAWING
• One and two-point perspective
• The human figure, realistic eyes and flowing hair
• Realistic portraits: first guided, step-by-step portraits, our speciality
• Lettering: shaded typography, 3D volume and contrast
• Composition: action lines, object layering, horizons and fantasy scenes
PAINTING
• Pastel colours: blending and shading for portraits and soft landscapes
• Introduction to oil painting: materials, brush care and canvas preparation
• Blending glazes and chiaroscuro to give real volume to each piece
DIGITAL ART
• Designing illustrated backgrounds and posters combining image and text
• Finishing the course with a small portfolio of their own
